Event # 5

École Culinaire, Otto Koch-Schule

Munich, Germany

March 2014

About

During the first months of 2014 we were very lucky to receive a special invitation from the Michelin starred chef Otto Koch who is running a culinary school in Munich called École Culinaire.

Otto invited us to Munich to teach a group of his students about modern Spanish gastronomy. An invitation we did not hesitated any second to accept.

We arrived to the École Culinaire with our bags full of recipes and freshly brought Spanish products from the Boqueria market and spend a great day together with the students sharing some of our knowledge, ideas and thoughts about modern Spanish cooking.

Before we left we had the pleasure to dine at Otto’s Restaurant 181 located in the Olympic Tower, 181 meter above the city of Munich.

In an age of 64 Otto is still highly active in the daily operations of the restaurant. He is a great chef, full of positives energies and loves to share his passion and love for cooking.

Otto Koch has our deepest respect and he has not only become a great colleague but also a very good friend.
